More4 News reports on the day of Alexandros Grigoropoulos' funeral in Athens, where the discontent and anger show no sign of ebbing.
Biography
Sam joined More4 News a few months after it launched in 2005 - her first foray into the world of broadcasting. Starting off as a researcher, she quickly got into producing, reporting and dabbling with the camera.
Previously she had trained in print, freelancing at various nationals before working as a reporter on a financial magazine.
Originally Sam trained as a pharmacist and, having worked in the NHS as well as the community, she used her background to get an exclusive on the Home Office's decision to deport non EU doctors; some whom had been working for years in UK hospitals and had been called by the government to work here.
She also produced a story on a Scottish MSP's controversial suggestion to introduce contracts to heroin addicts that involved signing away their right to have children while on treatment.
One of her highlights was securing and producing a rare interview with Yusuf Islam, formerly known as Cat Stevens, about his new album - after almost a thirty year absence from the mainstream music scene.
