Freesports on 4 Freeze has left the building!

Battersea Power Station, London

The crowd in front of the ramp

Battersea Power Station became the setting for the first ever Freesports on 4 Freeze event and it was a roaring success. The grounds of the famous landmark were transformed into a real life ski resort, complete with all the trimmings to make for the perfect urban alpine experience.

The 30 metre ramp saw literally hundreds of skiers and snowboarders fly off its lip over the weekend, and the main stage was rocked by everyone from Cypress Hill to The Enemy, and from Iglu & Hartly to Reverend and The Makers.

There was genuine après ski too; we're talking Alpine party DJ's from the top resorts of Europe: think Morris bar in Val d'Isere, Ice Bar in Mayrhofen, Krazy Kangaroo in St Anton, and many more besides.

Many of the world's greatest tackled the 30 metre, real snow big air jump in the LG Snowboard FIS World Cup and the International Skiing Big Air Competition.
