How We Rated The Seats
As we are parents are ourselves, we’ve tried and tested a variety of seats to keep our kids safe and comfortable in the car. In terms of choosing a group 1 2 3 car seat, we recently upgraded from our old seat because we wanted to own one that can be used in any car. This meant that it had to use a seat belt installation (not all of our cars have ISOFIX) and be of a size that can fit easily in all cars too.
In the end, we opted for the Graco All-In-One (the exact seat is in the main image of this article) and we couldn’t be happier with it. Although the Maxi Cosi Titan would be our top choice, we needed a seat with a seat belt installation. The Graco All-In-One also provides the desirable option to use it from birth and it can be reclined to best suit your requirements. As you can see in the image, you are able to adjust the seat to the suitable weight group of your child, which means the seat adjusts to support the growing needs of your child over the years.
As well as our own experience of using and testing a number of group 1 2 3 car seats, we also based our recommendations upon hours of research and multiple factors. Some of the factors that we took into consideration included the installation, adjustability of seat components, recline positions, build quality, colour options, weight, warranty and value for money.
Rather than having multiple car seats for your child as they grow, you can invest into a single seat that will last them from 9 months to 12 years old. All of the above group 1 2 3 car seats fit that category and we’ve included seats that are suitable for all budgets.
